WT 12Z

The WT 12Z is the largest tractor-driven woodchipper in the world.

An aggressive, heavy, large feed roller and a feed opening of 135cm x 90cm enable the WT 12Z to produce up to 300 loose cubic metres per hour of woodchip. A large screen size of 2.2m² ensures that chipped material is not shredded, meaning that the WT 12Z woodchipper has the lowest proportion of fine material.

Due to the fully automatic nature of the machine, the crane operator can concentrate on feeding the chipper. All important functions are permanently visible on the display, meaning that a change of electronics from softwood to hardwood, fine or coarse woodchip, or an alteration of the belt speed is possible in seconds. The feeding belt is driven by a powerful radial piston hydraulic motor without gearbox. This high-tech hydraulic system of the Wood Terminator 12 is otherwise only installed in excavators etc, thus the new WT 12Z chipper has the strongest feed in this performance class. In addition, the split screens can be exchanged in a few minutes.
