The modern Mus-Max drum chippers are available in a range of sizes from the WT7 (power requirement of 90-170hp) to the WT12 (power requirement of 420-600hp). When deciding which chipper is best suited to your requirements, we suggest considering the following:

• The log diameter that will most often be chipped
• The woodchip customers that you have
• What wood will mainly be chipped – cordwood, shrubs, brash etc
• The planned annual wood chipping quantity
• The chipper dimensions that are best suited to your requirement
• Where the chipper will be used – in a forest, a mountain forest, permanent location etc
• What off-road capability does the chipper need
• The type of roads the chipper will be driven on – country roads, main roads, motorways etc
