The WT 11XL Z is built for professional contractors who deal with a lot of brash and treetop parts in addition to trunks.

Due to the 1.35m wide feed opening, residual wood and splinter parts are smoothly drawn in. Exchangeable serrations and knives on the feed roller offer great advantages, ensuring the feed always remains aggressive. In addition, the lower feed roller also has new teeth that can be sharpened.

The WT 11XL Z can achieve an exceptionally high throughput of 260 loose cubic metres per hour due to the large screen surface of 2.05m², resulting in the production of top-quality woodchip and low diesel consumption. With the new chipper rotor and new feed control system combination, the feeding belt moves back very little, which reduces the production of fine material in the woodchip. Two generously dimensioned screw conveyors direct the woodchip to the throw blower. The new Mus-Max blower drive combines the advantages of a mechanical and hydraulic drive. The high efficiency of a mechanical drive and advantage of a hydraulic drive are obtained thanks to the drive gear that has been specially developed by Mus-Max. It is possible to swivel the holding plate with the gear and blower blade up to 180^O out of the blower, which significantly improves service and maintenance needs. The wear plates can be easily replaced when the blower is open, thus reducing maintenance downtime.
